What to see in Salvador

  • Its beautiful and brightly colored streets, the gaiety and hospitality of the Baianos.
  • Folkloric traditions are a cultural characteristic not only of the city of Salvador but also of the entire state of Bahia.
  • The Pelourinho contains about 600 restored buildings, forming the largest collection of Baroque architecture in the Americas.
